SM Sains – South Norfolk Youth Symphonic (SNYS)Band Music Workshop by Mike Booty on 3rd March 2012

In preparation of the planned Charity Orchestra Event in August 2012 a workshop was held under the leadership of Mike Booty . It was followed by a public performance of the Winds Orchestra on 10 March, 2012.

The goals of the workshop are:

1. Enabling an exchange of skills and experiences between the musical directors of the respective bands.
2. Inter cultural exposure : bringing an enriching overseas experience and cultural exchange for our students as well as guests.
3. With the assistance of the Rotary Club of Kuching Central to look for further mutually beneficial collaborative opportunities  in August 2012 when the full SNYS band makes their second tour of Asia.
