Our final handover for our Back to School 2024 initiative by the Rotary Club of Kuching Central, alongside Yayasan Sime Darby and the National Welfare Foundation, saw us donating necessary school supplies to 81 underprivileged students from SK Salak. We were honored to have the Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development – Dato Sri Nancy Shukri, graced the event. By easing parents’ financial strain and enriching the educational setting, this endeavor reflects Rotary’s dedication to advancing education and enhancing students’ well-being in the area.
