In late August 2023, Balai Bomba & Penyelamat Batu Lintang organized three memorable trips for students and trainees, including those from SIP, Sunshine Hub Sheltered Workshop, and EIP Group A. These visits offered 140 students/trainees an educational and exhilarating experience, highlighted by fire truck rides and sprinkling water. The event commenced with Autism Awareness Sharing sessions led by KAA
representatives, including Madam Cynthia Jee, Tr Cherrie, and Tr Dino. Notably, 30 officers from Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (Sarawak) actively participated, sharing invaluable insights on fire safety and hazard prevention. The successful event received support from KAA Committee members, parents, and guardians, with Rotary Club of Kuching Central sponsoring comfortable bus rides. The trip’s artwork was crafted by Daniel Eli, and a powerful quote was discovered during the visit, honoring the dedication of firefighters. Overall, it was a heartwarming and educational experience for all involved, celebrating the superheroes of our community.
