President Calvin and RCKC’s Clean Water project team, in collaboration with the Latter Day Saints Charities and Safewater Asia Sdn Bhd, have successfully implemented a sustainable stand-alone filtration system in rural communities of Sarawak. This morning marked the inaugural handover at SK Kebangsaan Kendaie, the first of many rural schools benefiting from this initiative, ensuring safe drinking water
for all. Witnessed by the school principal and administration team, the installation and demonstration by SafeWater Asia showcased the system’s reliability and ease of use. This eco-friendly and sustainable SIMPLE® Water Filtration System boasts a 10-year filter lifespan, low-cost maintenance, and operation, along with easy cleaning and plug & play installation, fulfilling Rotary’s area of focus on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. Its high flow rate of up to 60 liters per hour and compact design make it ideal for remote locations, with customizable specifications catering to diverse needs.
