The ‘Rotary Hydrates for Education’ projects was carried out in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Taipei Golden Eagle, Taiwan, and the Rotary Club of Queenstown, Singapore. The initiative involved the donation of a concrete plinth and the transportation of two 25,000-liter water tanks from SK Jangkar to SK Kendaie in Lundu.
This project, launched during IPP Calvin’s term and completed in the current Rotary year, addresses the critical water shortages faced by SK Kendaie during the dry season. The new water tanks will ensure a reliable water supply, improving the learning environment for the students.
Special thanks go to all the partners and contributors, particularly Safewater Asia Sdn Bhd, for their generosity in providing the installation and piping works free of charge. This collaborative effort highlights the true spirit of Rotary and the power of community teamwork in creating positive change.
